As soon as your request is accepted, the in-app chat opens. That is when you ask the awkward questions: water, generator, is the price truly the price. In English or in French.
Pay the owner directly, then collect your keys
Rent goes straight from you to the landlord, by Mobile Money, bank or cash, exactly as the two of you agree. Find Home never sits between you and your rent. What we guarantee is that the person collecting it is the one our agent verified.
Nothing reaches your feed unchecked.
Renting in Cameroon runs on trust, and that trust has been abused. Photos borrowed from someone else’s house. Deposits sent to “landlords” who never owned anything. The famous “the owner is travelling, just send the money.” We built Find Home to retire that phrase.
Every listing is checked against what the owner claims and pinned to the map before it is published, and that check is what the Verified badge records. Many are also visited in person by a Find Home field agent, who files a report from the site with photos taken on the spot and the price confirmed in writing. And if a home turns out not to be what its listing said, tell us within seven days: we cancel the booking and refund you in full.
